To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Swire Restaurants proudly presents a range of sumptuous dishes and divine desserts for lovebirds to indulge in the group’s individual restaurants. From contemporary European at The Continental, classic French flavours at Plat du Jour to playful, ingredient-driven dishes at Mr & Mrs Fox, each establishment will offer a truly romantic evening of culinary delights to impress your loved one.
Treat your beloved to an intimate four-course dinner within the comfortable and romantic surroundings of The Continental. The Valentine’s menu will include Smoked Salmon & Celery Root Terrine, followed by a Beetroot Risotto & Duck Confit and a choice of Wagyu Beef Cheek & Sirloin or Baked Branzino with Lobster Consommé. The final sweet course will be a Coeur de la Crème with white chocolate and rose petal jam. The dinner menu is priced at HK$1,300 for two.
To complement the meal, enjoy the specially created bespoke cocktails – For Him, a whiskey based drink mixed with pineapple, passionfruit, fresh rosemary and homemade vanilla syrup, and For Her, a gin based cocktail mixed with Chambord Liqueur, fresh blackberries, homemade lavender syrup, and whipped cream, topped with a splash of soda. The cocktails are available from 7 to 21 February and are priced at HK$110 each.
MR & MRS FOX
For the playful and mischievous, Mr & Mrs Fox is preparing a gastronomic ‘Mr & Mrs Fox Love Card’ Valentine’s Day menu at Mr Fox. The four-course dinner starts with a Bites Platter including Heirloom Tomato Tarts, Sea Crackers with Avocado and Foie Gras Macaroons.
Followed by the second course featuring a Poached Oyster with Garlic Cream, Roasted Salsify and Salmon Roe. The main course will have a selection of dishes to choose from including a succulent grilled Beef Tenderloin with Manchego Cheese, Mushrooms, and Sweet Breads complemented with a Bone Marrow Sauce or a Black Sea Bass with Clams, and a Confit of Parsnip and Dashi Emulsion.
Finally, spoil yourselves with a decadent dessert of Caramel Mousse with Candied Nuts and Brown Butter Crisps, on this very special night to be remembered.
The dinner menu is priced at HK$1,100 for two.
PLAT DU JOUR
Pamper your partner with an enticing and hearty French meal at either Plat du Jour at Pacific Place or Quarry Bay. The thoughtfully prepared four-course Valentine’s dinner comprises of starters such as Hokkaido Scallop or Pan Seared Foie Gras, followed by a Petit Lobster Bisque to warm your palates. For the main course, guests can choose from Oven-Roasted Sea Bass or Slow-Cooked Lamb Loin. End the meal with a sharing dessert of White Chocolate Sphere. In addition, to make the evening even more memorable, each couple will receive a special gift from Plat du Jour – a small bottle of La Marca Prosecco.
