From classic European flavours at The Continental and Plat du Jour to heart warming indulgences at Mr & Mrs Fox, each establishment presents a unique setting for a romantic night.
Be transported to a sophisticated setting at The Continental with a specially designed menu that warms the heart. The 4-course Valentine’s Dinner begins with a choice of starters including Salmon & Oyster Tartare and Baby Beetroot, Blood Orange & Fennel Salad, followed by the second course featuring a rich Double Boiled Chicken Consommé. Main dishes include the option of Dover Sole Fillet, Hokkaido Scallop & Oscietra Caviar or Seared Gressingham Duck Breast. Following the main course is Continental Cheese Board, and the meal ends on a sweet note with dessert options of the favourite Chocolate & Salted Caramel Tart or Wild Strawberry Pavlova. The dinner menu is priced at HKD 1,600 for two and subject to 10% service charge.
Mr & Mrs Fox
For the playful and mischievous, Mr & Mrs Fox celebrates a “Foxy Valentine’s” with their cheeky twist on surf and turf. The 5-course dinner at Mr Fox starts with Normandy Oysters paired with Rosé champagne granite with a Blood Orange & Vodka Cured Arctic Char following as the second course. For the third course, a Pan Seared Alaskan Halibut with cauliflower, hazelnuts, golden raisin and caper emulsion, followed by a signature Rangers Valley “Black Market” Beef Tenderloin with molten foie gras, brown butter spinach and sauce Bordelaise as the main. For dessert, a delectable Dark Chocolate & Raspberry Baked Alaska with crème de framboise rounds up a sweet evening. The menu is priced at HKD 685 per person and is subject to 10% service charge.
At the same, Mrs Fox presents two special cocktails, including “Cupids Bow” for lovers and “Forever Single” for the single ones. For classic French cuisine lovers, visit Plat du Jour at Pacific Place or Quarry Bay for an authentic dining experience. The Valentine’s Dinner comprises half a dozen Fine de Claire No.3 Oysters, followed by “Pays de La Loire” Quail with cep mousseline. Milk Fed Veal Fillet with sweetbreads, peas and shoots or Sea Bass with fennel, pastis and bouchot mussels make up the main course. End the meal with Dark Chocolate Fondue and seasonal berries, a quintessential dessert for romance. The 4-course menu is priced at HKD 888 per couple and is subject to 10% service charge.
