Swire Hotels Announces Launch of Plat du Jour Restaurant in Taikoo Place
Swire Hotels is pleased to announce the opening in November of its new French bistro, Plat du Jour. Located at 17-21 Hoi Wan Street, the restaurant is the latest addition to the fast-developing Taikoo Place dining scene.
Plat du Jour is the first standalone restaurant to be owned and managed by Swire Hotels. The 60-seat restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner daily and will offer authentic French regional cuisine. The menu features daily changing specials and was created by David Laris as part of his long-term collaboration with Swire Hotels.
The design of the restaurant adds a modern twist to traditional Parisian style and was conceived by Hong Kong architectural and interior design practice Zangellini & Holt Associates.
Plat du Jour follows Swire Hotels’ sustainable dining principles: in addition to sourcing food from sustainable sources, the restaurant will use quality local ingredients wherever possible.
