Host / Hostess

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage reservations by answering and follow up of phone and email enquiries in a polite manner
  • Communicate and coordinate table reservation and seating plan with service team to ensure optimal covers
  • Greet and lead guests to their respective table and provide initial contact
  • Coordinate with our Central Support Office and provide administrative support for all aspects of the restaurant
  • Handle customer contact politely and report guest complaints to Operations Managers as appropriate
  • Assist in restaurant duties as assigned by Operations Managers, and create a collaborating team

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or above, graduate from hotel school or hospitality training institution preferred
  • Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar capacity; fresh graduates from a relevant discipline will also be considered
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable to changing needs and demands, and able to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight schedules
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Computer literate
