Commis I / II

Main Responsibilities:

  • Follow instructions in preparation and handling of food in the kitchen
  • Ensure hygiene standards are kept to the highest standards at all times
  • Work closely with team members to ensure the cleanliness of kitchen area as well as equipment and utensils
  • Maintain all food storage spaces tidy and clean and ensure proper use of equipment at all times
  • Report any problems, failures of machines or small equipment
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required from time to time

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar capacity; fresh graduates from a relevant discipline will also be considered
  • Good knowledge of food and beverage
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Adaptable to changing needs and demands, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good command of spoken English and Cantonese
